Feast of the Seven Fishes Cooking Show: Episode One

Joe Murphy, co-host of The Chefs’ Table Series TV Show visits chef/owner Giuseppe Musto at Vincenzo’s Italian Specialty Store and Deli to cook the Italian Christmas Eve Feast of the Seven Fishes. The first course they will prepare is the Antipasti and consists of the following dishes:

Baccala Salad – baccala, black olives, evoo, chili pepper, lemon juice and cauliflower
Calamari Salad – boiled calamari, salt and pepper, fresh parsley, chili pepper and cherry tomatoes

Craft Beer Pairing: Rob Costa of the Massachusetts Beverage Alliance pairs craft beer Backlash Convergence with both the calamari and baccala salads.

Wine Pairing: Bill Caruso, of Blanchard’s Wines & Spirits, our wine educator of the show pairs the following wines: Rio Madre Graciano, Rioja DOCa, Spain and Monpol Rioja 2010, made from the native grape Viura.
