In December of 2013, St. Joseph’s Abbey located in Spencer, MA were certified by the International Trappist Association to become the first Trappist brewery in the United States. For years, the monks would produce and market jams and jellies which supported the abbey. Now, the monks are in the business of brewing craft beer!
